The Life Story of Paul Ledama Sekento

Early Life & Childhood
The late Paul Ledama was born on 29th June 1983 at Pumwani Hospital, Nairobi. He hailed from Kerarapon Village, Oloolua Location. He was the first-born child of the late Charles Pulei Sadat and Susan Mumbua Datsun.
He was a beloved brother to Ann Seela (Tito), Philip Lemein, Bernard Kirinkai, and Grace Ipato.
Grandson of the Late Edward Barnotti Sekento and the late Hannah Wanjiru Sekento.
He was a loving father to Nailantei Shamize and Kanteet Maison.
He was uncle to Ivana, Damien, Myles, Maya, Dilan and Milan.
Brother in law to Kevin Wazome and Essau Buchichi.
Education
Paul was baptized at PCEA Kerarapon Church.
He later joined Kerarapon Primary School, where he sat for his KCPE examinations. He then proceeded to Kajiado Central Secondary School and later completed his KCSE at Magnet Secondary School, Rongai.
Career & Work Life
Ledama was an astute businessman whose drive and determination were evident from an early age. Fuelled by his strong enthusiasm for cars, he ventured into the car hire business during his early working years, where he displayed notable entrepreneurial skill.
Thereafter, Ledama began working with Hon. Brian Sekento in the construction industry, collaborating closely with Chinese contractors. He was actively involved in several projects, including an apartment development along Muchai Drive and a major construction project in Narok, where he participated in building a residence for Hon. Ntutu.
In the period leading up to his passing, Ledama was serving as the personal driver to Hon. Gor, a role he fulfilled with commitment, loyalty, and professionalism.

Final Days
Paul was diagnosed with a heart condition earlier in 2025 and received treatment as prescribed. He was in and out of hospital and underwent several medical procedures at Kenyatta National Hospital and Karen Hospital where he was under the care of Dr. Gikonyo.
On 9th January 2026, he went to spend time with his mother. He had dinner and later went to sleep.
He peacefully passed on 10th January 2026.
